Universal Termsrv.dll Patch removes the limit fir concurrent remote desktop connections.

Termsrv.dll is a Windows DLL. It provides the Terminal Server Service for the operating system. In later Windows versions, it also provides the manager for remote desktop sessions. In Windows XP, Vista and 7, at least, this DLL is responsible for an artificial limitation on the number of concurrent remote desktop connections.

Universal Termsrv.dll Patch is a script that you execute. When executed, this script will alter termsrv.dll so that the limitation is no longer present or enforced. Once patched, your Windows will not support multiple remote desktop connections at the same time, and that can be very powerful in environments where there exists such a need.

Universal Termsrv.dll Patch is designed specifically for certain operating systems: Windows XP SP2/SP3, Windows Vista SP1/SP2 and Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit. Older operating systems are not supported because they lacked remote desktop capabilities. Newer operating systems are not supported because Microsoft has eliminated the limitation and provided the user options.

There is one version of Universal Termsrv.dll Patch, and it is suitable to all supported Windows versions. You run it directly in Windows, and you have to give it administrator privileges, so right-click on the executable and choose Run as Administrator. It is important that you choose either 32-bit or 64-bit. If you choose incorrectly, the patch will fail. Finally, restart your computer for the patch to take effect.

Note that this patch overwrites the termsrv.dll file. You may want to create a system restore point before running this. The program does create a backup of the original DLL, which is calls termsrv.dll.backup. You can use this file if you ever choose to undo the patch.

The Universal Termsrv.dll Patch is simple to use relative to many other solutions like it. You do not have to enter safe mode and install it there, for instance. That said, it is not user-friendly. It requires understanding of why you might want to patch your termsrv.dll, and we do not recommend users execute this patch without understanding what it accomplishes and the potential ramifications.
